Everyday Creativity: Identifying Barriers and Enhancements Through Music and Play
This presentation includes: 1) descriptions of relevant concepts of both, the barriers and blocks in accessing our creativity, as well as enhancements for everyday creativity, followed by 2) receptive and expressive experiential activities that can enhance access to everyday creativity including music, imagery, collage, and play. The purpose is to learn how the creating of a positive, joy – filled environment can generate greater access to everyday creativity. This form of creativity, equally distributed across the population, can result in greater adaptation and can improve creative thinking for those whom we serve as educators, artists, clinicians, care – givers and parents.
